The last time I was in the news was back in April of 2021 when our quiet home in the country was raided by 15 FBI agents for the crime of walking on the grass and trying to push past the guards to wave the US Flag on the steps of the Capitol on January 6th.
If seeing the flag waved by patriots on the Capitol steps sets you to clucking, after Americans watched our national election stolen by a secret cabal who installed the puppet Biden, the oligarchs who paid for it, and the deep-state politicians and judges who did nothing to stop it, then this candidate for Governor is not for you.
There is a terrible sickness in Oregon that needs a cure, and it has nothing to do with a flu variant that has been given a name. The pandemic that is smothering our State is officials jettisoning what it means to be an American in order to declare the supremacy of government and to claim unprecedented power.
Here are just a few of the Constitutional atrocities we have seen in Oregon:
The State insists it has all power to make your health decisions. These choices, which contain life and death risk evaluations, override your individual free will to govern your own life.
Your property rights are disposable. The lifetime struggle to build a small business can be destroyed with no regard for your loss.
Your right to assemble is withdrawn. People are ordered to stay home or travel is restricted. You have no right to rejoice at a wedding, to mourn at a funeral, to gather for a family reunion. You are not allowed to eat, exercise, or use any other public facility except under government authorization.
The State controls your religious worship. It can close down your church. It can dictate how the Lord's supper is to be administered, whether you are allowed to sing hymns, and where you can sit in the pews.
It is time for Americans to rally around the Constitution and to use it as a Compass to guide the fight against the tyranny that is threatening our freedoms.
Too many Oregonians are meekly following these tyrannical edicts and destructive laws that claim all power for Salem and Washington DC.
I will be asking Oregonians to have the courage to only obey orders and laws that are in harmony with the principles of the Constitution, and to set up their cities and counties as Constitutional Sanctuaries. At the top of this list I am asking Oregon counties to reject the corruption prone vote-by-mail system and to hold this gubernatorial election with one day in-person voting.
The power over our freedoms that the State has seized for itself must be pulled down. This campaign for Governor will champion 15 items on a Charter of Liberty that will return power back to the people.
As part of this effort, I have written a book explaining my actions at the January 6th Rally, along with my arrest and imprisonment. It also tells the story of how a rally many years ago in the Portland area prompted the realization of a moral truth that can be used as a inner compass to save the miraculous promise that is America.
Biography:
Reed and Myra came to Oregon with their five children in 1989 after he completed a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. For the past 30 years they have lived in the Hillsboro area, raising their children to adulthood while active in their church and community and seeing them all married and having their own families. They currently have 16 grandchildren.
Reed worked on processor design teams for Intel Corporation for 25 years, including the first workstation capable design and mathematics optimized designs used in supercomputers.
In 2001 Reed left Intel for five years to find a software startup that specialized in an engineering tool for protocol creation and testing.
Reed retired from Intel in May 2021.
Reed served as an active-duty Army officer from 1983 to 1987. After officer basic course he went with his family to Germany for a four-year tour to be the Signal officer for a Mechanized Infantry Battalion. After active duty he served another four years in the National Guard and Army Reserves.
Reed has been involved in politics starting when he was elected to a precinct position while in college and helped to nominate Ronald Reagan. He has been active in the Washington County Republican Party and served on the Executive committee as party secretary from 2018 to 2021.
2022 Oregon Charter of Liberty version:
November 28, 2021
1. Each County will return to a traditional, open, transparently honest Election system, with in[1]person voting on Election Day only.
2. Ban imposition of mandated health measures or medical procedures.
3. Move school funding directly to Parents.
4. Dissolve State Department of Education and pass a legal framework of Education freedom.
5. Dissolve State control that stifles a legal framework of freedom in Medicine and Healthcare.
6. Remove Emergency Powers of the Governor from the State Constitution.
7. Make public officials negligent of their duties to public safety subject to legal redress.
8. Ban employment discrimination on the basis of political belief.
9. As unborn children have an inalienable right to life, pass law to restrict abortion.
10. No surgeries or medications to feign a sex change on minors younger than 21. No biological males in female sports, restrooms, dressing rooms, or locker rooms.
11. The 2nd Amendment is a Citizens' Concealed Cary permit.
12. Require E-verify for all new employment.
13. No income taxes, personal or business. No estate tax. Replace with a 2% non-food sales tax, with thrift or second-hand stores exempt.
14. Balance political power to fairly represent all areas of the State by each County providing one State Senator.
15. Work with next Trump administration to turn over all Federal lands to State and Local control.
