Tides of Pride Grooming Event Complete with Drag Queen History Class Taught by Sid D’Licious Friday May 05, 2023

The Tides of Pride groomer event that was scheduled here in Coos County has been canceled after ALL the school districts received an overwhelming amount of calls from concerned parents. Good job Coos County. The districts canceled the event because it was age-inappropriate.
The following event is from organizations not associated with the Rob Taylor Report radio show. However, the contact information for the North Bend School Board Members is at the bottom of this post.
We are ready for students to sign up for our fantastic May 5 celebration. We have attached 2 different fliers; 1 is specifically for students who may need to present to parents as an ally.

Students will be provided lunch by North Bend High School Culinary Arts program. They will also receive a goodie bag, prizes and hand-outs from the vendors. They will choose 2-3 of the following presentations to attend at the event:
• Spectrum of Self by Kylyn and Marie Small from Out of the Rain Counseling
• Intersectionality by Laura Erceg from SOC Pride
• Drag History, Styling tips & tricks, Q&A by Sid D’Licious & Cyraphina
• Ballroom history & culture by Jamar Ruff from South Coast Equity Coalition
• Advocacy by Frankie Leigh from Southern Oregon Community College & the Pride Club
