The President of OSU Declines Management of The Elliott State Forest
The president of OSU just declined management of the Elliott State Forest because of the strong opposition of the HCP and FMP! We did this! We united County Commissioners who took a stand against the HCP, we educated and reminded elected officials to weigh in and give testimony in opposition to the horrible HCP and the cost to the counties and public services, we raised awareness through our media campaign and the information we put out in brochures, speeches, on Facebook, on our website, the thousands of petitions we got signed…… WE DID IT! We are STRONGER TOGETHER!
I just spoke with Bob Zybach, who has been fighting the HCP on the Elliott since the 1990’s, and he stated “This is ONRI’s win, ONRI did this, ONRI fought this battle and because of our efforts, this is a victory!” M
Way to go ONRI!!
Grateful!
Jen
