Primary Ballot Review with Jim Bice 3:08pm Monday, May 02, 2022, on KWRO
Jim Bice and I will review the Primary Ballot and let everyone know which candidates and measures we are going to vote for and against. We are not telling anyone who they should vote for, we are just telling them how we are going to vote and why.
The Primary Elections are set up for the major political parties, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, to nominate their candidates for the General Election that will be held on November 8, 2022.
No voter in Oregon will receive all of the candidates on their Primary ballot. Voters who are registered as a member of the Democratic Party or the Republican Party will receive a ballot that includes all of the nominating candidates for that specific party, along with all eligible nonpartisan contests. Voters not belonging to a political party or to a minor political party will receive a ballot for the Primary Election that includes only eligible nonpartisan contests.
April 26, 2022 was the deadline for new voter registrations and political party changes. Please see below for various notices and schedules regarding the election.
