Bio:
My name is Ginger Kralicek. Between my husband and I, we have a total of seven children. I moved to North Bend from Arizona in 2021, and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science with a focus in language and education while teaching at a private school. Education has been my focus for a long time and I'm passionate about ensuring that our youth receive the best education possible. While the North Bend School system is fairly good, it could be enhanced by some fresh eyes, and I would love to bring a teacher's perspective to the board. I hope to make North Bend the standard of excellence that everyone aims for.
Bio:
I have 20 years of experience as an independent insurance agent and as a manager of an Allstate insurance office and worked with customers to ensure that their insurance needs were always met. Learned to find solutions, make relationships, ensure that the customer had all the information, and worked to provide benefits to the community. I have another 10 years of experience as an owner/operator of a construction and maintenance services business. The construction industry has many sides; customer service, payroll, scheduling, materials procurement, service and maintenance for the equipment, licenses, etc. I am comfortable with all these areas.
I am a member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Ambassador Club and I volunteer for the Pregnancy Resource Center.
As an incumbent member of the school board, I want to help the community and the school board work together to facilitate the best outcomes for the youth.
I believe that it is important to:
Honor Parental Rights
Provide Curriculum Transparency
Ensure School Safety
Offer School Choice
Conservative Values & Conservative Choices
Bio:
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work from George Fox University in 1994. I then worked in the Undergraduate Admissions office at George Fox for 5 years recruiting for and helping high school students through their college admissions process. After getting married in 1999, I have lived in North Bend ever since. With the exception of working for an adoption agency for 2 years as a birth parent advocate while placing their newborn babies up for adoption, I have been a full time Mom since September of 2000. My oldest son graduated from North Bend High School in 2019, my daughter graduated in 2021, my 3rd is graduating this spring of 2023, and my youngest will be entering high school this fall at NBHS. Two of my kids have attended North Bay Elementary, all four have attended North Bend Middle School, and all will have attended NBHS.
I am running for the school board for many reasons. Though we have many great things going for us in the NBSD, we also could see improvements in many areas. We need to bring our attention back to academics in the schools, and stop focusing so much on specific ideologies. I am an advocate for parents being involved in their child’s education, for transparency in curriculum, for the safety and well being of ALL students, and for communicating, listening and responding to staff, teachers, administrators, and community members.
I was just recently appointed to the board filling a vacancy, and hope to be re-elected for the next four years. My heart is for our kids - the next generation of adults.
