In order to complete this Service Contract, you need to incorporate an IDIQ to the Contract in order to meet the criteria of price
In Conclusion:
- Coos Bay Mayor and City Council have authored an RFQ that is Monopolistic and is in violation of the FAR, in addition, this Contract appears to be in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act.
- 3 Small Businesses under the direct protection of the Small Business Administration are being harmed daily as a result of the City’s Contract. These results are measurable, and the harm must be stopped.
- Immediate efforts should be made to ensure that they are made whole.
- The three innocent businesses: must be allowed to return to the rotation methods of contracting to mitigate economic damages.
- A proper Commercial Services SF1449 Contract and IDIQ must be published.
- In accordance with the FAR, North Bend Towing will be submitting this contract for review by the Office of the Inspector General and reporting the activities of the Contractor who accepted that Contract
- Mast Bros Towing, the Contracting Officer, Coos Bay Mayor, and all members of the City Council who approved the Towing 2022 RFQ Contract issued on January 3rd
